Information, not treatment
Mind Matters provides information and referrals. We do not provide diagnosis, counseling, or emergency services.
If you or someone else is in danger, call 911. For a mental-health crisis, call or text 988 (24/7). More crisis lines
Educational information only
Everything on this site is general education. It is not medical, psychological or legal advice, and it can’t replace talking with a qualified professional who knows your situation.
Listings are not endorsements
We list services to help people find options. A listing does not mean we endorse, recommend or guarantee a provider. Services, hours, costs and eligibility change, so please confirm details directly with the provider.
Research summaries
Our summaries explain studies in plain language and describe their limitations. A single study rarely settles a question, and a link between two things (an association) doesn’t prove that one causes the other.
Art-based activities
Our activities are for wellbeing and enjoyment. They are not treatments and don’t cure any condition.
Neurodiversity information and templates
The information palette is not a diagnostic or screening tool, and it doesn’t rank people. Self-advocacy templates are educational examples, not official IEPs or 504 plans, legal advice, or a guarantee of any accommodation.
Youth stories
Stories reflect personal experiences, shared with permission. What helped one person may not suit another.
