Share your story
Stories about neurodivergence and mental health can help other young people feel less alone. Here’s how we publish them safely.
How it works
- Use the contact form, choose “Interested in sharing a story”, and tell us how to reach you. Please don’t include your story itself yet.
- A Mind Matters editor explains the process and what we’ll publish.
- We need your written permission before anything is published. If you’re under 18, we also need written consent from a parent or guardian.
- You choose how you’re credited: your first name, a pseudonym, or anonymously.
- An editor reviews the story, and you see the final version before it goes live.
- You can ask us to remove your story later, and we will take it down.
What we don’t do
To keep everyone safe, Mind Matters doesn’t host public posting, comments, direct messages, an anonymous forum, or live chat. These need clinical oversight, safeguarding and moderation that we don’t have.
If you’re struggling right now, please don’t wait for us: call or text 988 any time.
